On January 18th, the "Development and Application of Key Technologies for Collaborative Carbon Reduction and Emission Reduction with Biofilm and Activated Sludge" project of Huahong Water Group passed the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements. The evaluation committee highly praised the scientific and technological achievements of Huahong Water Group, and experts unanimously agreed that this achievement has reached the leading level in technology in China.
The evaluation meeting for scientific and technological achievements was organized and held by the Guangxi Environmental Protection Industry Association within Huahong Wastewater Treatment Co., Ltd. in Cenxi City. The development and application of key technologies for collaborative carbon reduction and emission reduction using biofilm activated sludge was jointly developed and completed by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Environmental Protection Science Research Institute, Huahong Water Group Co., Ltd., South China Environmental Science Research Institute of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and Guangxi University. The evaluation committee invited five industry experts from South China University of Technology, Sun Yat sen University, Tianjin University, Guangxi Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd., and Hualan Design (Group) Co., Ltd. to form the evaluation expert committee. The meeting was chaired by Huang Fuping, Vice Chairman and Chief Engineer of Guangxi Environmental Protection Industry Association.
The evaluation expert committee conducted on-site inspections of Cenxi Factory and Danan Village Sewage Treatment Station in Shuiwen Town, Cenxi City, listened to the introduction of research and development units, and reviewed relevant materials. The attending experts evaluated the projects from multiple perspectives, including project innovation, social and environmental economic benefits, and promotion and application.
Experts say that with the promotion and application of this achievement, it will provide reference for the treatment of urban and rural domestic sewage pollution in other regions and the low-carbon operation of sewage treatment plant (station) projects. It has important reference significance and reference value for improving the technical level of urban and rural sewage treatment plants and winning the battle against water pollution control. At the same time, the evaluation committee also expressed appreciation and expectations for the R&D team of Huahong Water Group, hoping that Huahong Water Group will continue to play the spirit of environmental innovation in its future development and make greater contributions to the development of the environmental protection industry.
