The sewage treatment plant project in Cenxi City was a newly added central investment project in 2008, and it was also a key construction project started in the autonomous region, Wuzhou City, and Cenxi City in 2008. The sewage treatment adopts an improved oxidation ditch+UV disinfection sewage treatment process, the sludge treatment adopts mechanical concentration and mechanical dehydration treatment before being transported for landfill, and the tail water disinfection adopts UV disinfection treatment method. Since the operation of the project, all indicators of the effluent have reached the national first-class B standard for comprehensive sewage discharge. The effluent is discharged into the Yichang River, solving the problem of standard discharge of domestic sewage for more than 300000 people in Cenxi urban area.
